Analyst Intern – Southeast Asia (Hanoi)

The Asia Group is now accepting applications for a full-time Analyst Intern to join our growing Hanoi office.

The Asia Group’s Hanoi office is seeking an entry-level intern to support our thriving Vietnam practice. This role will involve supporting our Hanoi-based team by carrying out in-depth research, developing actionable insights, and assisting client-ready updates and research memoranda.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Vietnamese political system as well as a strong grasp of international business fundamentals. They will possess strong communication abilities in both English and Vietnamese, and will be able to provide clear, concise, and nuanced briefings and written product to TAG clients and leadership. Priority will be given to those applicants with demonstrated experience in research, consulting, government relations and similar fields.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Strong public affairs ethics, conducting all activities with honesty and integrity;
  • Recent graduates with a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in public policy, political science, international relations, economics, or other relevant disciplines (exceptional advanced candidates in their final year of undergraduate studies may also be considered on a case-by-case basis);
  • Exceptional English-language communication skills, both verbal and writing;
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to provide strong support on both critical client matters and simple administrative tasks;
  • Flexibility with respect to working and communication hours, particularly when coordinating with team members in Washington;
  • Prior internship experience in business, consulting, government relations, and/or law; and
  • Candidates with demonstrated experience of working in an international environment will be an asset.
