Senior Advisor

Lieutenant General Stanley T. Kresge, USAF, Ret., is a Senior Advisor at The Asia Group.

General Kresge entered the Air Force in 1980 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He is a career fighter pilot with over 4,000 hours, primarily in the F-15C/D/E. He commanded two squadrons, an operations group, two wings, a center, and a numbered Air Force. His General Officer assignments include Deputy Chief of Plans for Northern Command/North American Air Defense Command, Air Force Space Command Director of Operations, Commander of the Air Force Warfare Center, 13th Air Force Commander/Joint Force Air Component Commander for Joint Task Force 519, and Vice Commander, Pacific Air Forces.

After 34 years in the Air Force, General Kresge is a consultant advising a variety of government agencies and defense corporations. He is Air Force Adjunct Contract Professor supporting Indo-Pacific Command and various Air Force initiatives. He also serves as a part-time Air Force Senior Mentor (Highly Qualified Expert-SM). As a Senior Mentor, he has observes and coaches Air Component leaders and staffs during Tier 1 Combatant Command exercises and mentors Coalition Force Air Component Commander training courses.

General Kresge received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Troy State University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Strategic Studies from Air University.
