Jenna Cho is an Analyst at The Asia Group, where she focuses on the firm’s Northeast Asia portfolio.
Before joining The Asia Group, Jenna was with the British Army at the British Embassy in Washington for nearly four years. In this capacity, she supported a senior British Army general to advance the bilateral military interoperability agenda and coordinated high-level visits from the United Kingdom. Prior to that experience, Jenna worked at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, where she conducted numerous interviews with North Korean defectors to draft cables on a wide-range of defector resettlement issues. She has also worked at CSIS Korea Chair in Washington and produced analytical pieces on the KORUS FTA and regional security issues.
Jenna holds a Master of Arts in Asian Studies with a focus on Economics and Security from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Her research interests at Georgetown included U.S.-ROK Alliance dynamics, Korea’s corporate governance reform efforts, and Korea’s FDI in South and Southeast Asia. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations from George Mason University. She is fluent in Korean.
In her spare time, Jenna enjoys rock climbing and working her way through Julia Child’s Mastering the Art of French Cooking.
