Human Resources Coordinator

Prapti Bagga is the India-based Human Resources (HR) Coordinator at The Asia Group. Prapti‘s role encompasses a broad suite of HR functions, including recruiting and onboarding talent, employee relations and culture building, policies for The Asia Group’s India subsidiary, and coordinating with the firm’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Prapti‘s extensive HR expertise spans areas such as people, culture, diversity and inclusion, cross-cultural communication with foreign delegations, and navigating multicultural environments. Prior to joining The Asia Group, Prapti was part the New York City-based organization BSR, working for their People Culture — DEI team overseeing the organization’s U.S. East Coast offices, including New York, Washington, and Boston. Her earlier roles include stints in the Intercontinental Group of Hotels, Macys, State Bank of India, The Times Group, and the Consulate General of India, all in New York City.

Prapti holds a dual Master’s degree, with an MBA in Human Resources and International Business from Delhi. She completed certification programs in journalism and communications from Hudson College, New York. She considers the United States her second home, having resided in the country for 17 years. Prapti now splits her time between Delhi and New York. In her spare time, she indulges in diverse interests such as reading tarot, watching movies, and exploring new destinations and cultures. With a passion for travel, she has visited over 17 countries and continues to expand her horizons.
