AssociateHaleigh Kling is an Associate in The Asia Group’s Defense & Aerospace Practice. She is responsible for several defense industry clients across the Indo-Pacific region with a focus on Japan.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Haleigh served as a Space Policy Fellow, then a Nuclear Public Policy Fellow, at the Non-proliferation Policy Education Center. Previously, Haleigh served as the Diplomatic Assistant to the Defense, Air, and Space Attache at the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C. Haleigh serves on the Board of Directors as Programs Co-Chair for Space and Satellite Professionals International (SSPI). Additionally, Haleigh volunteers as an event coordinator for the Japan-America Society of Washington, D.C.
Haleigh holds a Master’s in Culture, Policy, and Management from the City, University of London, and a bachelor's from Loyola University. She speaks intermediate Japanese and Spanish. In her spare time, she works on a novel and enjoys amateur sparring in Mixed Martial Arts.
