Administrative InternJake is an Administrative Intern at The Asia Group’s Washington, DC office, where he supports the firm’s day-to-day operations.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Jake participated in the International Chinese Language Program (ICLP), an intensive Mandarin immersion school at the National Taiwan University in Taipei. Previously, he conducted research at Georgetown University on the behalf of the Alliance for Development in Democracy, where he assessed trade policy with the goal of strengthening global value chains between the United States and Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Panama. Jake formerly interned at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates.
Jake is pursuing a B.S. in Business & Global Affairs from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and Walsh School of Foreign Service. His studies focus on the intersection of business and policy, with an emphasis on public-private relations, value chains, and operations. Jake is fluent in French and conversational in Mandarin. In his personal life, he is an avid skier and enjoys the outdoors.
