WASHINGTON, D.C. | December 6, 2019 — The Asia Group today announced that Brian Andrews, a Partner and member of the firm’s Executive Committee, is resigning in order to pursue a new professional opportunity. Starting December 16, Brian will join Audible, a division of Amazon based in New Jersey, to lead their international public policy effort. Audible is the world’s largest seller and producer of audiobooks and other spoken-word entertainment.
Brian was one of the founding members of The Asia Group, joining the firm in May 2013. Over the past six years, he has helped The Asia Group grow into the premier consulting firm focused on the Indo-Pacific region. In addition to client support across the region, Brian led several important programs and initiatives, including mentoring junior staff members, convening the 2016 U.S.-Japan Women’s Empowerment Roundtable, and volunteering through The Asia Group Foundation.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Brian served on Asia policy in the U.S. government across the State Department, Department of Defense, and National Security Council.
