The Asia Group strives to be a firm dedicated to the goals of personal dignity, professional achievement, respectful dialogue, and true diversity. We stand with the many people in the United States and around the world protesting peacefully in support of racial equality and social justice. The tragic killing of George Floyd is a painful reminder of how far America has yet to travel in attaining its founding ideals and principles. We are in solidarity with our African American colleagues and our community in support of Black Lives Matter.
The Asia Group has prioritized support to underrepresented groups in our community through contributions from The Asia Group Foundation to organizations like the National Urban Debate League, Running Start, and The Kingsman Academy. The protests we are witnessing now underscore the need to do more. Going forward our Foundation will provide financial support to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp. The Asia Group’s Vice President of Culture & Values, Groslyn Burton, is advising the firm’s executive committee on these and other steps to ensure The Asia Group continues to contribute to a more just, equal, and respectful society.
