Kiki Benjasiriwan is an ASEAN Fellow at The Asia Group, where she supports the firm’s Southeast Asia portfolio.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Kiki worked as an intern in government affairs consulting in Washington, DC. Additionally, as an independent consultant, she undertook projects such as collaborating with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Electricity to expedite the commercialization of clean energy products and enhance the participation of first-time/disadvantaged applicants in DOE funding opportunities. In Thailand, she gained experience in both the public and private sectors, working in the Prime Minister’s Office and managing her social enterprise. She spent the last two years of college dedicated to promoting disability inclusion and shaping an inclusive future of work for all.
In addition to her professional roles, Kiki’s research focus on Thai politics led her to collaborate with UC Berkeley professors as a Teaching Assistant for courses such as Introduction to International Relations and the Politics of Southeast Asia.
Kiki holds a master’s degree in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Her academic focus encompasses public-private partnerships, social entrepreneurship, green transition, and economic development in Southeast Asia.
