Mae Fullerton is an Associate with the China practice at The Asia Group, where she supports clients to assess and navigate complex issues in the U.S.-China relationship, manage geopolitical risk, and develop actionable strategies for responding to an increasingly challenging business environment.
Before joining The Asia Group, Mae served as a strategic advisor at Envoy, a social impact advisory firm, where she worked closely with large companies, industry associations, chambers of commerce, workforce boards, and non-profit organizations.
Mae’s professional background in China and international relations includes a Fulbright fellowship in rural Taiwan along with research experience with the American Mandarin Society, the EastWest Institute, and a global provider of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) data. During her undergraduate studies, Mae also served as co-president of Brown China Summit, conducted metacognition research in China, studied Mandarin at Beijing Language and Culture University, and worked as a professor’s assistant for an international relations course.
Mae graduated with honors from Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Decision Sciences. For her honors thesis, Mae investigated predictors of pandemic health behaviors and published her findings in the Journal of Health Psychology. She is proficient in Mandarin.
