Jennifer Schuch-Page

Managing Principal

Jennifer Schuch-Page is a Managing Principal at The Asia Group leading the firm’s energy and sustainability practice. With over 15 years of experience on energy and climate issues across the Indo-Pacific and other major markets globally, Jennifer brings broad insight into the region’s energy transition strategies, clean technology supply chains, and geopolitics.

Jennifer previously served as Managing Director for Global Bilateral Climate Action and Senior Advisor for the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate. In this capacity, she advised Secretary John Kerry and White House Senior Advisor to the President John Podesta on bilateral priorities and strategies for advancing U.S. climate policy with major economies. Within the interagency, Jennifer led strategy for deepening bilateral strategic and commercial partnerships on energy security, clean energy supply chains and deployment, transport electrification, industrial decarbonization, critical mineral security, and clean tech competition. She spearheaded the first APEC Leaders Dialogue on Climate hosted by President Biden in 2023 and drove energy and climate outcomes for U.S. presidential engagements with Japan, Korea, Australia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia. She coordinated the inaugural U.S.-ASEAN Ministerial on Climate and the Environment and the launch of a new bilateral ministerial dialogue with Japan on clean energy industrial policy.

Before joining the administration, Jennifer served as a Principal at The Asia Group, helping grow the firm’s Southeast Asia practice and corporate strategy. She also held several roles in the State Department, private sector, and non-profits in DC and Asia. Jennifer is a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations and a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
