The Asia Group Announces Aman Raj Khanna as Partner

Washington, DC, New Delhi, & Mumbai | July 9, 2025 – The Asia Group (TAG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Aman Raj Khanna as Partner. With an impressive track record of leadership at TAG and across key sectors in South Asia, Khanna will continue to play a leading role at TAG in delivering corporate strategy and business success for clients navigating the complexities and opportunities of India’s rapidly evolving economy.

Khanna’s depth and breadth of corporate, government, and policy knowledge will ensure that TAG’s South Asia platform is distinguished ever more as the market-leading partner for companies to expand and grow in markets defined by regulatory complexity, political drivers, and shifting geopolitical realities.

“We are thrilled to welcome Aman to TAG’s leadership team. India is one of the world’s most exciting and complex markets, and Aman brings critical expertise and strategic insight that will allow our clients to successfully unlock growth opportunities while navigating potential risks,” said Nirav Patel, CEO and Co-Founder of TAG.

Khanna joined TAG in 2021 and was critical to launching and growing its New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore operations. As Partner, Khanna is a leader within TAG’s South Asia practice in close collaboration with Partner & Chair of the India Practice Ashok Malik and Partner Nisha Biswal, offering clients tailored, market-relevant solutions as they navigate India’s continued transformation.

“India’s ecosystem is complex, and businesses need deep, on-the-ground expertise to thrive,” said Ashok Malik, Partner and Chair of TAG’s India Practice. “In Aman, we have someone with extensive local and global experience, capable of guiding clients through India’s unique opportunities while ensuring they are prepared for its challenges.”

Before joining TAG, Khanna’s career spanned roles in both the U.S. and India, including stints in finance, government advisory, and politics. Khanna has previously served as a director for government affairs at Murdoch Media and subsequently as India Country Director at Swiss payments technology operator, Global Blue. At TAG, he advises clients ranging from blue-chip multinational corporations to innovative startups and investment funds on market entry, expansion strategies, and capital allocation decisions.
