Dussadee (Icey) Klinpho is Vice President at The Asia Group (TAG), based in Bangkok, where she plays a leading role in driving the firm’s strategic growth and client success in Thailand. With nearly two decades of experience in diplomacy, economic affairs, and regional engagement, she helps lead TAG’s Thailand practice—assisting global businesses as they navigate the Kingdom’s complex policy landscape and seize emerging opportunities across key sectors.
A former career diplomat, Icey brings deep insight into the intersections of government policy, international relations, and economic development. Her recent posting at the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, DC, focused on economic and human rights policy, where she built strong networks across the U.S. government, private sector, and media. She played a key role in supporting business expansion and investment between Thailand and the United States.
Prior to that, she served at Thailand’s Permanent Mission to ASEAN in Jakarta, advancing regional cooperation and strengthening the ASEAN Secretariat’s institutional role in a rapidly evolving geopolitical environment. Her career also spans critical work in public affairs, internal security, and bilateral relations throughout the Indo-Pacific and Middle East.
At TAG, Icey collaborates closely with teams in Singapore and Washington, DC to provide clients with tailored, on-the-ground insights and strategic advisory services. She is passionate about positioning TAG as a leading partner for companies looking to thrive in Thailand’s dynamic business environment.
Icey holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree from Chulalongkorn University. Outside the office, she is a certified rescue scuba diver, an avid rock climber, and a slow but steady hiker
