Kendall is an Associate with The Asia Group’s Defense & National Security Practice, where she provides strategic analysis of geopolitical trends and industry developments to support defense clients seeking to expand into markets across the Indo-Pacific. She also directly supports The Asia Group’s Indo-Pacific Defense Incubator (IPDI) initiative, helping to connect emerging U.S. and allied defense technology companies with government stakeholders and investors to accelerate cross-border collaboration, commercialization of cutting-edge technologies, and next-generation defense innovation across the region.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Kendall served as an International Analyst supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering within the U.S. Department of Defense. As the portfolio manager for India, Singapore, and Australia, she advised senior leadership on science and technology activities and defense priorities within the Indo-Pacific to strengthen U.S. alliances and defense partnerships. Earlier in her career, Kendall served as a Research Analyst for the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security, where she developed pathways to reduce critical security vulnerabilities throughout the Defense Enterprise.
Kendall earned her MSc in International Relations with Distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She received her BA in Government and Politics with a Concentration in International Relations from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she graduated cum laude. During her collegiate career, Kendall supported faculty at the University of Maryland with her research on the political economy of foreign aid. In her free time, Kendall enjoys cooking for her friends, reading, and exploring new places.
