Nikola Skerl is a Manager in the GeoCommercial Strategy Group at The Asia Group supporting clients on strategy and operations focusing on how to re-align corporate strategy to face geopolitical challenges.
Before joining The Asia Group, Nikola was a consultant at Deloitte Consulting. He advised clients including Fortune 500 and public sector leaders on corporate strategy, operations, and human capital across consumer & public goods, energy & industrials, and government & public services industries. During this time, he worked on projects including supply chain management, organizational design, operating model design, M&A integration, future of work strategy, and change management. Nikola previously worked for the Texas Tribune as a fellow and served as on the Strategic Advisory Board of the Austin Monitor.
Nikola is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he holds degrees in Mathematics and International Relations. He was a senior undergraduate fellow at the Clements Center for National Security and a Brumley Next Gen Scholar at the Strauss Center for International Law & Security. Nikola speaks Serbo-Croatian, French, and some Arabic. He is a recent transplant to DC and enjoys biking, reading new books, running, skiing, and rooting for the Texas Longhorns.
