Bhagaskara Moekti is an Analyst at The Asia Group, where he supports the firm’s Southeast Asia portfolio with a focus on Indonesia.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Bhagas worked as a management consultant, advising Indonesian state-owned enterprises and government ministries on long-term strategy development and business planning. He also has experience in energy and sustainability, having supported a Fortune 100 company in assessing renewable energy procurement options across the Asia-Pacific to enable low-carbon expansion. Most recently, he worked with the City of New Orleans to develop a medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicle transition strategy as part of the city’s broader sustainability goals.
Bhagas holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, where he specialized in Public Policy Analysis and Energy Policy, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung. Bilingual in English and Indonesian, Bhagas enjoys playing tennis and listening to music outside of work.
