Yin-Chun Hsiao is an Associate at The Asia Group (TAG). Based in Taipei, Yin-Chun brings extensive experience in industry research, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement to TAG. Yin-Chun’s consulting background has shaped a public affairs mindset that enables her to help clients expand market access and address market barriers in Taiwan.

Prior to joining TAG, Yin-Chun served as an Account Manager for Public Affairs at a consulting firm, where she advised multinational companies entering or expanding in the Taiwan market, with a primary focus on the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology sectors. In her role, she conducted policy-focused and data-driven research to provide actionable insights for clients’ senior leadership and to help them navigate global and domestic policy complexities. She also developed strategic public policy initiatives to support clients’ business objectives, including advocacy planning, government and stakeholder engagement, position papers drafting, and media outreach.

Beyond her consulting work, Yin-Chun’s articles appeared in a U.S. think tank and Taiwanese media outlets, offering insights into policy shifts, geopolitics, business, and technology. She also contributed as a freelance writer for The World TODAY, a global news program by LINE.

Yin-Chun holds a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature from the University at Buffalo, where she focused on psychoanalysis and racial issues, and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language and Literature from Tsing Hua University. She speaks Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, and English. In her leisure time, Yin-Chun enjoys film photography to capture unfiltered moments.
