Claire is an Associate in The Asia Group’s China practice where she covers a broad range of political and economic topics to help clients navigate the complexity of the U.S.-China bilateral relationship. Claire also incorporates in-depth analysis for client products on topics related to Taiwanese domestic politics.

Before joining TAG, Claire participated in the Young Global Professional Program at the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub. Claire also supported research at the Brookings Institution John L. Thornton China Center and the Center for East Asia Policy. At Brookings, Claire assisted on research surrounding Taiwan’s domestic politics, public opinion polls, and cross-Strait policies. Claire also previously served as the International Affairs Intern Lead at the Taipei City Government’s Mayor’s Office where she assisted with external affairs, inviting foreign embassy ambassadors and head representatives to events hosted by the Taipei City Government.

Claire expects to receive an MA in Asian Studies from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in May 2024. She graduated cum laude with a BA in International Affairs and Psychology from the George Washington University Elliott School of International Affairs. Claire commands native fluency in Mandarin. She enjoys discovering new music and trying out new restaurants in her spare time.
