Malavika Mysore is an Associate Vice President at The Asia Group, where she works within the firm’s South Asia practice. Currently based in Mumbai, Malavika advises leading multinational companies operating across South Asia on developing tailored market entry and stakeholder engagement strategies. She supports clients operating across a variety of sectors, including technology, clean energy, manufacturing, and logistics.
Malavika was one of the earliest members of the firm’s India Office and has previously served in several positions within The Asia Group – including a Senior Associate, Associate, and Analyst. In these capacities, Malavika played a pivotal role in expanding the South Asia practice, operationalizing the firm’s in-country presence, and enhancing the team’s client servicing capabilities.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Malavika undertook a number of projects with local think tanks and NGOs in India, including the Association for Democratic Reforms – an organization aimed at strengthening democratic governance across India through electoral and political reforms. Malavika supported the organization’s research and advocacy efforts, both at the central and state levels, on combating corruption in elections and developing proposals to submit to individual State Election Commissions on actioning electoral reforms.
Malavika holds a Master of Science in Politics and Communication from the London School of Economics (LSE), where she had the distinction of her thesis being selected and published in the LSE 2019 Dissertation Series. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from King’s College London.
Malavika was born in India and brings years of in-country experience. She is proficient in Hindi and Kannada.
