Chi Vu is an Associate at The Asia Group based in Hanoi, Vietnam. In this capacity, she supports the Southeast Asia practice by providing analysis of political, regulatory, and economic developments as well as stakeholder engagement support to clients across various sectors.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Chi gained experience in policy analysis and strategic communications at Washington, D.C.-based institutions, including the Hudson Institute, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Partnership for Public Service. In these roles, she conducted research on issues ranging from U.S. strategy in Asia to technology policy and international trade, while supporting media relations and coordinating engagement with government, congressional, and other policy stakeholders.
Chi holds an M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and a B.A. in Political Science and Multimedia Journalism from Augustana College. Her academic and professional work has focused on the intersection of geopolitics, foreign policy, and emerging technologies in Asia.
