Jennifer Lee, Principal at The Asia Group spoke with The Hankyoreh sharing thoughts on the Department of Energy adding South Korea to its “Sensitive and Designated Country List” stating, “U.S. partners such as Israel, Taiwan, and India also on the list have faced no major restrictions in cooperating with the United States… However, additional restrictions may be added, such as having to submit an application about 45 days in advance to obtain permission to access sensitive facilities or information.”
