The Asia Group Welcomes Gen. Ted Kresge (Ret.) as Senior Advisor

Washington, D.C. – The Asia Group is excited to announce that Lieutenant General Stanley T. Kresge, USAF, Ret., has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor.

“Ted brings to The Asia Group a remarkable track record as a fighter pilot and leader at the highest levels of the U.S. Air Force and we were thrilled to bring him onboard to expand and deepen our talent and insights on defense, aerospace and national security,” said Rexon Ryu, Managing Partner at The Asia Group. “With over 4,000 flight hours and leadership experience as Air Warfare Center and 13th Air Force Commander and as Pacific Air Force Vice Commander, Ted brings unmatched expertise to support our defense and aerospace clients throughout the Indo-Pacific region.”

Prior to joining The Asia Group, General Kresge served in the U.S. Air Force for over three decades, primarily flying the F-15C/D/E, and commanded two wings, a center, and a numbered Air Force. His General Officer assignments included Deputy Chief of Plans for Northern Command/North American Air Defense Command, Air Force Space Command Director of Operations, Commander of the Air Force Warfare Center, 13th Air Force Commander/Joint Force Air Component Commander for Joint Task Force 519, and Vice Commander, Pacific Air Forces.

In addition to his role at The Asia Group, General Kresge is an Air Force Adjunct Contract Professor supporting Indo-Pacific Command exercises and the Joint All-Domain Command and Control initiative. He also serves as a part-time Air Force Senior Mentor where he coaches Air Component leaders during Tier 1 Combatant Command exercises and mentors Coalition Force Air Component Commander training courses.

General Kresge received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Troy State University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Strategic Studies from Air University.
