Jennifer Ratner is a Senior Advisor focused on corporate development advisory services, including originating and executing cross border strategic partnerships. Jen brings a deep financial analytical toolkit with investment banking and direct investing experience across multiple sectors, including technology and financial institutions.

Jen started her career in the Investment Banking group at Bank of America Securities, where she advised Fortune 500 technology companies on accessing public markets, pursuing M&A opportunities, going private, and entering new sectors. She prepared board presentation materials, such as fairness opinions and financing alternatives, as well as formulated positioning, strategic rationale, and industry overview pieces for client senior management. In addition, she performed comprehensive valuation analyses including comparable company, precedent transaction, and discounted cash flow for over $1 billion in transactions.

Prior to joining The Asia Group, Jen served as an Investment Officer for a $125 million senior debt fund focused on financial institutions in emerging markets. During her tenure, she led $23 million of new investments, managing the investment process from due diligence through term sheet negotiations. In addition, Jen monitored over $110 million in investments across nine countries and developed integrated financial projections with various stress test scenarios.

Jen has also worked with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation to establish a global risk measurement methodology for emerging markets’ private equity investments and to validate exit multiples and repayment risk for its private equity portfolio.

Jen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University and an M.B.A. with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. She is fluent in French and has working knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
