Earlier in his career, he served in the Hsinchu City Government and Taiwan’s Legislative Yuan, contributing to policy research, legislative initiatives, election campaigns, and public communications. He also worked in media as a political reporter and radio news anchor, covering national elections, legislative affairs, technology, and the Taipei City Government.
Eric holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Graduate Certificate in Security Policy (cybersecurity and AI). His capstone, “Addressing AI-Driven Disinformation in Elections: Comparative Analysis of Taiwan and Lithuania,” examined countermeasures to AI-enabled disinformation.
