Jin Lu is Senior Vice President at The Asia Group (TAG) Hong Kong Office. A seasoned expert in public affairs and strategic communications, Jin has advised multinational corporations across different sectors including financial services, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, and supply chains over the past two decades, concentrating on China and Hong Kong.
Before joining TAG, Jin held regional leadership positions at Christensen and Kreab Gavin Anderson, both global communications agencies. In that work, Jin was a trusted advisor in navigating regulatory challenges and shaping compelling narratives amid geopolitical complexity. Earlier in his career, Jin held senior public affairs roles at PepsiCo and McKinsey, driving stakeholder engagements and corporate affairs in the Greater China region. Jin started his career as an international affairs correspondent, reporting on the overseas visits of top Chinese leaders.
Jin holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing. He was named an East‑West Center Fellow. Jin speaks English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese. In his leisure time, Jin loves traveling around the globe to explore exotic cultures.
