Kristina is a Senior Associate in The Asia Group’s Australia practice where she plays a key role in client development and strategy execution on Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific. Based in Canberra, Kristina uses her government policy experience and knowledge of the Indo-Pacific to support policy-driven engagement strategies and to monitor political, economic, and regulatory developments.
Prior to joining TAG, Kristina served as a foreign affairs officer with the Global Engagement Center at the U.S. Department of State. In this role she drove the U.S.-Australia bilateral relationship on countering foreign state information manipulation and led strategy development and execution in the Pacific. Previously, Kristina worked as an analyst supporting U.S. Government counter terrorism efforts and managed large-scale projects across multiple agencies.
Kristina holds a Master of Arts in Global Finance, Trade, and Economic Integration from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In her spare time, she enjoys birdwatching, hiking, and swimming.
