Lauren Dueck is a Senior Vice President and Director of Communications at The Asia Group (TAG), where she leads strategic communications initiatives that elevate the firm’s global brand, thought leadership, and media relationships. With over 15 years of experience, she develops impactful narratives that advance TAG’s presence at the nexus of business and international affairs.
Before joining TAG, Lauren served as Director of Communications for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s satellite, data, and information service, where she oversaw enterprise communications for the nation’s environmental and weather satellite programs. Her previous roles include leading communications and strategic initiatives at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, directing media relations and global health campaigns at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University Law Center, and advancing foreign policy and national security messaging at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Lauren holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of Chicago, and speaks Russian and Spanish. She lives in Arlington, Virginia with her husband and two young children, and is an award-winning fiber artist.
