Nathaniel Krasner is an AI Associate at TAG AI, The Asia Group’s artificial intelligence–enabled platform. In this role, Nathaniel employs machine learning and natural language processing techniques to derive actionable policy intelligence from both structured and unstructured data. With expertise in natural language processing and machine learning, he assembles pipelines to extract statistically significant strategic insights from large and complex data sources.

Prior to joining The Asia Group, Nathaniel served as a Graduate Research Assistant at George Mason University, where he developed machine translation systems for low-resource languages and utilized state-of-the-art large language models to automate the creation of educational materials.

Nathaniel graduated from George Mason University with a master’s degree in computer science, concentrating in machine learning. He is continuing his education there in pursuit of a Ph.D. in computer science, focusing on improving the multilingual capabilities of language technologies. Nathaniel was born in Michigan and moved to central Virginia in his childhood. He enjoys going for walks, spending time with animals, and tinkering with technology in his free time.
