Nikki Paris is the Administrative Intern at The Asia Group where she supports business operations, The Asia Group Foundation, and various branding initiatives.
Prior to joining TAG, Nikki worked as an administrative assistant at Graduate Student Services at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs where she supported professional development programs, managed career events, and led branding efforts for the department. She also interned with the United Nations Bhutan where she focused on expanding disability inclusion and tracking progress on the Sustainable Development Goals. In this capacity, Nikki built out a framework for a joint initiative on disability inclusion supported through in-depth research of international policies.
Previously, Nikki lived in Taiwan where she studied at National Taipei Normal University’s Mandarin Training Center and taught English. She is conversational in Mandarin. Nikki writes for GW’s International Affairs Review and volunteers with the Refugee Education Advancement Laboratory.
Nikki is currently pursuing a master’s in international affairs with a concentration in Asia from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. Originally from Colorado, Nikki graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with degrees in International Affairs and Chinese. In her spare time, she plays online geography games and has memorized the capital of every country in the world.
