Patrick is a Senior Associate at The Asia Group, where he assists the firm’s geocommercial strategy practice.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Patrick served as an advisor to the Deputy Secretary of State. In this role, he managed the Deputy Secretary’s congressional relations, energy and environment, and global infrastructure portfolios. He also served as the Deputy Secretary’s liaison to the Office of China Coordination, where he covered PRC relations in South and Central Asia. Previously, he worked on the Indo-Pacific Affairs team at the National Security Council, where he supported high-level engagements with Indo-Pacific nations. Before joining the National Security Council, Patrick worked as special assistant and research assistant on the Senate Armed Services Committee’s Readiness and Management and Emerging Threats and Capabilities Subcommittees. During his time on the Hill, he supported long-term strategic planning processes for Combatant Commands and helped shape the National Defense Authorization Act.
Patrick holds a BA in Government and International Politics from George Mason University.
