Phuong To is an Associate at The Asia Group, where she provides support to the Vietnam Country Team in research and client-related requests. In this capacity, Phuong is responsible for helping the Country Team and client stakeholders monitor public policy and business developments on the ground.
Previously, Phuong worked for an international nonprofit organization specialized in anti-human trafficking and poverty alleviation. Before this, she has led several academic and market research projects in Vietnam for the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, based in Singapore, and for a UK-based data transport company, respectively.
Phuong lived and studied in France, then in the United States before returning to Vietnam. Phuong graduated summa cum laude from a dual bachelor program in Political Science and Human Rights from Sciences Po Paris and Columbia University in New York City, where she was also a member of the Columbia University Lion Dance Team. She is proficient in French and Chinese.
