Associate Vice President

Quynh Vu is an Associate Vice President at The Asia Group, primarily focusing on Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asia region.

Prior to joining The Asia Group, Quynh’s civil service career of more than 14 years was centered on trade promotion among embassies, corporations, and business associations for the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Starting as an officer in the International Relations Department, she rose to the leadership position of Deputy Director. Over the years, Quynh’s responsibilities included the Africa, Europe, North America, and South Korea markets, and she oversaw cooperation agreements, trade promotion activities, and MOU signings between embassies, trade organizations, and businesses. Quynh also collaborated with foreign donors and non-governmental organizations such as UNDP, ADB, and Eurocham over the course of her career.

In 2015, Quynh was dispatched as a trade official to the Vietnam Trade Promotion Center in New York City, and she spent five years building trade relations and helping businesses from Vietnam and the United States to navigate the complexities of investing and expanding their businesses at home and abroad.

Quynh is a 2014 recipient of the Reinforcement of Trade and Investment Promotion Award from the South Korean Government, and she was also awarded in 2019 by Vietnam’s Minister of Industry and Trade.

Quynh holds a bachelor’s degree in international economics from Hanoi Foreign Trade University, and a Master of Business Administration from California Miramar University. In her free time, Quynh enjoys golf, traveling, and exploring foreign architecture.
