Rie Ito is an Operations Assistant for The Asia Group’s Japan practice, supporting the daily operations of the Tokyo Office, along with organization of special events and travel coordination and project execution. With over 15 years of experience in administrative roles in Japan, Rie is committed to fostering operational efficiency and a productive work environment.
Prior to her position at TAG, Rie served was part of the marketing team at Edwards Lifesciences Japan for 7 years. In this role, she liaised with both internal stakeholders and external agencies and supported implementation of successful marketing activities.
Rie holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from J. F. Oberlin University, and studies in the United States and the United Kingdom. In her spare time, she is a qualified practitioner of Japanese tea ceremony (chado). She is fluent in Japanese and English.
