Subhodeep Jash is a Vice President with The Asia Group’s South Asia Practice. Subhodeep brings over a decade of experience managing policy programs, driving strategic initiatives, and executing market advisory support across technology and trade. His professional experience ranges from working on trade policy negotiations in the Ministry of Commerce in New Delhi to managing regulatory and public affairs strategies for multinational businesses at FTI Consulting, UK India Business Council, and the consulting arm of a Delhi-based law firm. Subhodeep has also led various policy advocacy programs for Fortune 100 companies in the digital economy, retail, and automobile sectors.
Previously, Subhodeep served as an US-India Technology Policy Fellow at New America in Washington D.C. where his research focused on the intersection of technology and civic engagement. He has also written on technology policy issues in media outlets such as Slate, The Economic Times, and Financial Express.
Subhodeep holds a master’s degree in public policy from Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and completed the Young India Fellowship from Ashoka University on a full scholarship. In 2016, he was a youth ambassador to the 2041 Climate Force’s Antarctic expedition. In his spare time, Subhodeep enjoys trivia, traveling, and strategizing his fantasy football (soccer) team.
