Trishi Jindal is a senior associate with the South Asia Practice at the Asia Group, with experience at the intersection of technology law, data governance, and digital public infrastructure. She brings expertise in translating complex legal and technical issues into actionable policy recommendations for governments, global technology companies, and civil society organizations.
Previously, Trishi was a research fellow at the National Law School of India University, where she researched on digitization of India’s public records and regulatory frameworks for India’s data protection authority.
She has also served as a project fellow at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy in New Delhi, advising the Indian government and leading research on India’s first data trust for urban mobility data. She has further negotiated privacy, free speech, and due process protections within India’s data protection and information technology laws. She has also advised technology and media companies on platform governance and regulatory issues at Koan Advisory.
Trishi’s research has appeared in leading journals such as Data & Policy and the Journal of the National Human Rights Commission.
She holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where she was a Puth Family Scholar, and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from NALSAR University of Law. Trishi is qualified to practice law in India.
