Vinsensius Dicky Kangen is a Senior Associate in the Southeast Asia practice at The Asia Group. Based in Singapore, he provides strategic advice on policy, regulatory, and market developments across the region, drawing on his experience in technology regulation, public-private engagement, ASEAN affairs, and regional economic policy.
Prior to joining TAG, Vinsensius spent nearly eight years at Meta, most recently as Regulatory Risk & Response Manager for APAC. He managed complex digital platform regulatory issues across public policy, legal, operations, product, and engineering teams, and led AI-enabled compliance initiatives to strengthen regulatory risk detection and response quality.
Before Meta, he worked at the US-ASEAN Business Council, where he managed the ASEAN, SME, and Indonesia portfolios. He facilitated engagements between member companies, ASEAN bodies, and Indonesian stakeholders, including business missions, ministerial meetings, and led the Council’s region-wide SME initiatives.
His broader public policy experience includes roles with the Executive Office of the President of Indonesia, Indonesia’s House of Representatives Commission I, and the ASEAN Secretariat’s IAI-NDG team under the ASEAN Economic Community.
A recipient of Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance scholarship, Vinsensius holds a master’s degree in International Public Policy from University College London. His academic work examined ASEAN’s role in facilitating public-private partnerships and supporting regional economic development across member states. He is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Outside of work, he serves in his local church and spends his free time playing tennis and scuba diving.
