Vishakha Singh Deshwal works at the South Asia practice of The Asia Group as a Senior Associate. She possesses a deep understanding of the digital policy landscape in India having worked with the government and private organizations.

Previously, Vishakha worked as a policy consultant at The Quantum Hub, a public policy consulting firm based in New Delhi where her work spanned across digital competition, online gaming, AI and platform accountability. At TQH, she advised and supported leading multinational corporations, startups, government and international not for profit organizations. Prior to this, she worked as a consultant in the Cyber Laws Division of India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology where she contributed to drafting amendments to rules under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Vishakha holds a master’s in law with a specialization in International & Comparative Law from National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata where she was awarded the Saroja Gopala Krishnan Scholarship and gold medal for academic excellence. She obtained her bachelor’s in law from National Law Institute University, Bhopal.

Fluent in English and Hindi, Vishakha enjoys playing board games, exploring diverse cuisines in her free time and is a passionate coffee enthusiast.
