Wilson Grossman-Trawick is an Associate in The Asia Group’s Defense and National Security Practice, where he advises clients on U.S. defense policy, emerging technology, and maritime industrial base trends.
Prior to joining TAG, Wilson was a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he supported the U.S. Navy’s submarine and shipbuilding enterprise as a senior advisor to a one-star admiral. In this capacity, he helped senior Navy leadership develop and implement budget and acquisition, shipbuilding industrial base, and deterrence policy and messaging. He also led the office’s strategic communications strategy and engagements with Capitol Hill.
Wilson began his career on and around Capitol Hill as a staff assistant for Senator Bill Nelson of Florida, and as the policy lead at an infrastructure advocacy organization. As a graduate student, he worked at the Department of Defense in the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs.
Wilson holds an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Florida. A native Floridian, Wilson has thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine and enjoys sailing, running, and analog film photography in his free time.
