Niharika Yadav is an Associate at The Asia Group. Based in New Delhi, Niharika works as part of the firm’s South Asia team servicing clients ranging from multinational corporations and start-ups to investment funds and industry bodies. She supports clients in building a keen understanding of India’s policy landscape through in-depth analysis of critical business, policy, and political issues and risks in emerging markets.

Prior to joining The Asia Group, Niharika was an Associate at 9.9 Insights, an Indian-based strategic partner of Albright Stonebridge Group, where she worked on regulatory policy monitoring and advocacy across sectors such as fintech, health, media, etc.

Niharika graduated magna cum laude from Ashoka University with a major in Economics and focus on political science, international relations, and history. At Ashoka, she launched a global affairs podcast exploring issues such as female labor force participation in India, India’s neighborhood policy, role of gender in international relations, and the relation between commerce and conflict in disputed areas. Niharika has a keen interest in the K-12 education space and has volunteered with various organizations to support teaching, curriculum-building, and fundraising efforts. She is a trained Hindustani Classical vocalist, and can be found enjoying poetry and music in her free time.
