Defense AnalystOlivia is a Defense Analyst at The Asia Group, where she analyzes strategic geopolitical and industry developments throughout the Indo-Pacific in support of the Defense & Aerospace practice.
Prior to joining The Asia Group, Olivia served as a congressional staffer, most recently as a research assistant for the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee. In this capacity, she aided the committee in conducting a bipartisan investigation of the U.S federal response to the COVID-19 pandemic and examining global medical supply chain trends. Olivia also worked for Senator Richard Burr, Senator Mark Warner, Senator Kelly Loeffler, and the late Senator Johnny Isakson from her home state of Georgia.
Olivia is currently a MA candidate in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. She intends to graduate in May 2024. She graduated cum laude from Roanoke College with a BA in History, focused primarily on East Asia, and a BA in International Relations. Olivia’s academic interests include Sino-American relations and their evolution, Indo-Pacific relationships, irregular warfare, and global supply chain developments. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys running, playing on recreational sports teams, and learning piano.
