WASHINGTON, D.C. | March 12, 2025 – The Asia Group (TAG) is pleased to announce that Alexander C. Feldman has joined the firm as a Partner and will lead the new TAG office in Singapore. This strategic investment reinforces TAG’s commitment to building an industry leading business consultancy across the Indo-Pacific region.
Singapore is one of the world’s most significant financial and strategic hubs for a diverse array of multinational companies. The new office will enable TAG to deliver in-market business success, forge high-impact partnerships, and catalyze new growth opportunities for TAG clients across the Indo-Pacific.
“For decades, Alex has been a trusted leader and strategic advisor to leading businesses focused on driving outcomes in the ASEAN region. His leadership, entrepreneurialism, and global business acumen make him an essential addition to our leadership team,” said Nirav Patel, CEO and Co-Founder of TAG.
“As companies look to expand in Southeast Asia, they need forward-thinking strategies and trusted counsel to navigate the regulatory, political, cultural, and economic complexities at play,” said Feldman. “I’m honored to take on this leadership role at TAG and to help our clients unlock opportunities, mitigate risks, and drive long-term growth in this dynamic region. I look forward to working alongside my colleagues across Asia and the United States to build upon TAG’s proven record of success in the Indo-Pacific.
“I’m delighted to welcome Alex as Partner and to celebrate this important milestone for the firm,” said Dr. Kurt M. Campbell, Chairman and Co-Founder of TAG. “I’ve witnessed Alex’s visionary leadership and strategic foresight firsthand during his time at the US-ASEAN Business Council and Boeing. He will be instrumental in helping clients succeed in Southeast Asia’s evolving landscape and I look forward to working with him to drive their success in the region.”
With more than three decades of leadership experience across government, business, and media in the Indo-Pacific, Feldman brings a deep understanding of Southeast Asian markets to TAG. “With Alex at the helm in Singapore, TAG is optimized to help clients drive outcomes in Southeast Asia’s evolving business landscape with confidence,” said Rexon Ryu, President of TAG.
Before joining the firm as a Senior Advisor late last year, Feldman served as President of Boeing Southeast Asia, overseeing corporate strategy across commercial, defense, and space sectors in over a dozen countries. Previously, he spent over a decade as President & CEO of the US-ASEAN Business Council, where he spearheaded initiatives to advance American business interests in the region and expanded the Council’s membership to over 170 multinational corporations. Feldman was named the Council’s President Emeritus for his exceptional leadership in 2021.
Feldman’s public sector experience includes senior global leadership posts in the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. Department of State under President George W. Bush. Feldman led the Bureau of International Information Programs with the rank of Assistant Secretary of State, then served as Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary for International Trade. Alex began his diplomatic career in President George H.W. Bush’s Commerce Department in 1990. He has also held leadership positions at major media companies, including CNBC Asia, MTV Asia, and STAR TV, helping to drive growth and market expansion across the region.
