The Asia Group Welcomes Jennifer Schuch-Page as Managing Principal

WASHINGTON, D.C. | March 19 — The Asia Group (TAG) is pleased to announce that Jennifer Schuch-Page has rejoined TAG as a Managing Principal. Drawing on her deep experience across the government, private, and non-profit sectors, Schuch-Page will lead client servicing for companies investing in the energy sector and working to drive stronger financial performance through decarbonization of their operations and supply chains throughout the Indo-Pacific.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jenny back,” said Nirav Patel, CEO and Co-Founder of TAG. “Her impressive network, leadership and managerial skills, and insight into the region’s evolving energy landscape and associated politics will amplify TAG’s ability to help clients navigate challenges, execute policy campaigns, and seize market opportunities.”

Schuch-Page most recently served as Managing Director for Global Bilateral Climate Action and Senior Advisor for the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate at the U.S. Department of State. In this role, she informed and developed strategies for advancing U.S. climate policy with major economies, spearheaded the first APEC Leaders Dialogue on Climate, and drove key initiatives to advance cooperation on energy security, energy transition, and clean energy industrial policy with ASEAN, Japan, Korea, Australia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

As a Managing Principal, Schuch-Page will draw on TAG’s extensive network of in-market experts and regional offices to provide companies and philanthropies with a comprehensive suite of capabilities in government relations, risk advisory, stakeholder engagement, and business intelligence to achieve policy and commercial objectives.

“In today’s increasingly complex geopolitical and regulatory landscape, Jenny’s knowledge of diverse industries and political actors makes her uniquely well equipped to advise companies investing in our future energy security and the energy transition,” said Rexon Ryu, President of The Asia Group. “In an era of big data, AI, and explosive demographic growth, the trends are clear that businesses need access to a range of energy inputs to ensure that their operations and investments are optimized to drive strong financial outcomes.”

“We have seen companies benefit from Jenny’s strategic insights and counsel and we are glad to have her guide clients as they seek to seize new opportunities across the Indo-Pacific region,” said Patel.

Before her time at the State Department, Schuch-Page was a Principal at The Asia Group, where she helped drive the firm’s growth in Southeast Asia. She also held several additional roles at the nexus of public policy, commerce, advocacy, and geopolitics based in Asia and Washington, D.C. She is a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations.
